Detailed description

Grand Rapids Country Club is a 27-hole golf facility located in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Grand Rapids Country Club has three nine hole courses, they are: The Red Course, The White Course, and The Blue Course. These courses can be combined and played in three different eighteen hole combinations: Blue/Red, White/Blue, and Red/White.

The Grand Rapids Country Club golf courses first opened for play in 1922. The courses were designed by Emory Krump.

The Grand Rapids Country Club golf course has rolling terrain, tree lined fairways, lakes, and wetlands. Water hazards only come into play on three of the twenty-seven holes. The greens are medium-sized and fast, and the fairways are wide and rolling.

In 2014, the Meijer Foundation closed Grand Rapids Golf Club and transferred the property to Frederik Meijer Gardens after plans to locate the Southeast YMCA on the property was rejected by the Grand Rapids Township Planning Commission.
